ITSR notes that ARTC's Victorian, South and Western Australian network rules for the protection of out of service track infrastructure currently has comparable equivalent clauses in the NSW network rules. Therefore, ITSR on this basis now accepts ARTC's rejection of recommendation RO-2010-007-SAN-004 and has enclosed a copy of the close out report for recommendation RO-2010-007-SAN-004 for your information. ITSR would also like to thank ARTC for its detailed and comprehensive advice on the relevant risk management provisions that were contained in the ARTC advice.
Accordingly, recommendation RO-2010-007-SAN-004 is classified as "Closed - Recommendation Rejected".
