The Manildra Mill shunt locomotive did not have a CountryNet communication system installed as required by the New South Wales Rail Safety (General) Regulation 2008.
The CountryNet communication system includes GPS data transmission which is required by the TMCS to verify train location and ensure network rules are complied with. CountryNet communication system installed in March 2010. Now complies with the New South Wales Rail Safety (General) Regulation 2008.
A CountryNet communication system has been installed into the Manildra Mill shunt locomotive.
The radio system installed into the Manildra Mill shunt locomotive now complies with the requirements of the New South Wales Rail Safety (General) Regulation 2008.
