VH-TAW was en-route from Sydney to Brisbane. In accordance with normal procedures the aircraft was identified and "handed off" to Brisbane Sector 2 at Point Lookout, at Flight Level (FL)350. The pilot called Brisbane Sector 2 and reported cruising at FL330. This was confirmed by the pilot. Sydney Control subsequently acknowledged that a coordination error had been made.
