CASA acknowledges the intent of this Recommendation. It is
intended, under the proposed CASR Part 119 to introduce a Safety
Management System, among other issues, for air transport operators.
Essentially these proposals provide for training and checking for
crews flying with small operators and a greater regulatory emphasis
on the responsibilities of key personnel in a company, including
the head of flying operations.
