Safety Issue
Silky Ocean's third mate assumed that a collision
between his ship and Peter Crombie had not occurred. He did not
immediately report the incident to the ships master and he made no
attempt to contact the damaged fishing vessel. In doing so, he
disregarded his legal and moral obligations to ensure the safety of
the fishing vessels crew.
