The ATSB is investigating the 30 March 2011 fatal aircraft accident involving a Piper Turbo Saratoga SP at Moree in NSW.
Update 1 April 2011
The ATSB investigation team arrived in Moree yesterday afternoon.
This morning, they interviewed many of the witnesses staying in the adjacent caravan park. Because many of the witnesses are tourists, it is important that the ATSB gets their statements before they move on.
The team have begun examining the site including the surrounding area for additional evidence such as ground scars or broken tree branches.
Further updates will be made available as significant information comes to hand.
