The ATSB conducts a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for all high privacy risk projects. A project may be a high privacy risk if it has a significant impact on the privacy of individuals.
The Privacy Impact Assessment Register records details of PIAs conducted by ATSB since the Privacy (Australian Government Agencies – Governance) APP Code 2017 (Privacy Code) came into effect on 1 July 2018.
