At about 1345 local time on 08 February 2013, a deckhand was pulled overboard and fatally crushed while attempting to reposition a fender along the side of the yacht. The deckhand had been intending to protect the yacht from damage while it passed through the old Glebe Island bridge in Sydney. Afterward, the yacht anchored in Johnstons Bay just north of the bridge then returned to the marina to assist in the necessary investigations.
The investigating is continuing in cooperation with the flag State.
