The ATSB has received a number of submissions in response to its consultation on proposals to change requirements for notifying accidents and incidents to the ATSB and the extent of information from those notifications the ATSB’s shares for safety purposes.  The ATSB, in consultation with CASA and the Department of Infrastructure and Transport, is currently examining the issues raised in these submissions before finalising a proposed approach on this matter.  A draft regulatory proposal is expected to be available for public comment in the first half of 2013.
